yes so many things to say right now. i'm absolutely filled with excitement! and i shall not think of the near future of accomplishing my summer homework, but instead a further next year future at college!
my major, ot neurology, but neuroscience. i dont think there's much difference, but neuroscience is much more specific to what i'm interested in. because i think neurology is like the the struture of the brain, whereas neuroscience is pretty much the that and the various
chemicals. (:
hah. you'd think i would take ap chem this senior year.. which actually i think would have been better. but i had no choice, because physics was the only one to fit my junior year schedule. and since i like dr weirich's class so much, why not ap physics since i cant take any other a science?
okay. so here's the part i'm really excited about. i have two colleges in mind, that i'm pretty sure i should be accepted into, although i'm not going to count my eggs before they hatch. so the two colleges added to my wonderful list:
connecticut college - like uva, they have an honor code! and its just an hour drive away from new haven! where my mom found the best noodle shop ever! and its also near the ocean! heart!
gettysburg college - much closer to uva and so it'll be easier on my mom and she can move down south and visit us more conveniently and its has some pretty rich history
the sad thing is that i think connecticut does not have astronomy.. which i'm still thinking if i just want to study that as a hobby, or a major or a minor. i dont know. but i do know i want to major in neuroscience. ((:
oh and another college, which i'm not as confident of being accepted, is college of william and mary. its in virginia, near my brother, and it has both neuroscience and astronomy! so there. yeah.
back to the present, marching band!
camp has ended.. two days ago actually.
and you know the cruel thing? so i skipped the band bbq to go to the youth group bbq, only to be told on the ride there that the youth group bbq ENDED. well, i didnt really mind. because its not like dinner's the most important meal of the day. and i can always have bbq's in the near future or even the further future! *cough* college *cough*
hahaha.. dood, seriously. i am very jealous of my brother. i really can't wait to go and live in dorms and "show off" to professors, as stated by my mom.
i keep having to pull myself back to the now.. marching band was alright. not as bad as i thought it would be. great news is that we finished dotting our visual! and i have most of the music down in my head. just that whenever i play the low brass feature in the closer i keep needing to rethink the notes instead of having natural finger motions. quite sad. but i'll get it eventually.
and now for the bad news... i dont really know how i'm going to finish all my summer work by tuesday. but breathe. i'll figure it all out.. somehow.
oh! and college life.. well, i'm registered for classes at usm this fall!.. and hopefully this spring if i can do it with tennis. it's just a 2 credit french conversation course though. but yaye! college!.. even though its not really. but whatever.

oh and i just remembered that i never blogged of my awesome last weekend when i had the house to myself, where i tried not to stay at home because of it. anyway, it was more of an awesome sunday.. spent with the awesome youth group, which got me feeling totally awesome when i started band camp.. until i realized i was being really lazy at band and turned serious... -.-
so last sunday was a brilliantly warm and sunny day! and right after church the youth group played human dutch blitz!.. straight from the people of pbu.. julia and dan! oh and before we had pizza.. and before, the sermon included an amusing hate of mushrooms, and so one half of a pizza had mushrooms.
oh and katie was back from her long illness and so that just made everything even better!
so human dutch blitz totally sucked for our team because we kept losing.. until we cheated! and then we won two rounds of blitzes!! yeahh! :D
and then we rested under the roof of the church out of the blazing sun where i got stung by a hornet pour la premiere fois!
and then jon felt like going to the beach and so we all decided.. oh yeah, ally had just come back from boston.. since ally lived so near willard beach, we'd go over to her place, get some freebies she got from massart and then off a la plage!
but sam, angela, dan, luke, nate and i, in two cars, decided to take a detour to wendy's because we wanted to test if sam's portland, or wherever he worked, wendy's headphones could pick up the waterfront wendy's signals.. and, well, no. different frequency. and so we just went into wendys, except for nate because he had no shoes, until he created a pair from a plastic bag, a frisbee and rachel's bookcover. and then went to ally's to make everyone there jealous of our wendy's delectables.
oh and then entering the beach, a creepy group of guys were just like..
hey! what's up..how ya doin' in the creepiest tone
besides that, the beach was a blast. i got an awesome sun burn! and we buried jon in the sand and sculpted him some abs, nipple and guns! haha and then we placed a skirt to look like a skirt on the sand sculpture and then vanessa offered her flanel shirt to make jon a kilt!
after the beach we got back to ally's and to cool off from the beach, which was to cool off from human dutch blitz!
and soon it was just rachel, dan, john, nate, angela, katie, mike and i heading over to the andreason's and we watched men in tights!.. o.o
and then we went to spurwink playground and did more crazy stuff and i cant go on because i really need to go now.
