i feel like i am lacking a lot of common sense. agh. ):
anyways, here's a joke mr ludington told the class yesterday in study hall:
one day this guy entered the bar and asks the bartender for a drink. the bartender gives him a drink. the guy then tells the bartender, "i bet you $50 that i can bite my nose"
the bartender obviously doesn't think he can and so agrees to the bet. the guy takes out his dentures and bites his nose and puts his dentures back in his mouth. the bartender gives him $50. the guy then places another bet. "i bet you $100 that i can lick my eye."
the bartender once again doesn't believe he can do that and so he agrees. the guy takes out his glass eye, licks it and puts his eye back in. [eww right?] the bartender chuckles and gives him the $100. the guy asks the bartender for a beer and goes off to mingle with the other people in the bar. later, he comes back. he makes another bet with the bartender. "i bet you $1000 that if you put a shot glass at the end of the bar table i can shoot my pee from the other end, into the shot glass." [it's about the length of a classroom] the bartender really does not believe that that is possible and agrees to the bet.
so he puts the shot glass at one end of the bar table and then the guy starts peeing and the pee flys everywhere but not in the shot glass. the bartender laughs his ass off. then he asks the guy, "if you knew that you couldn't do it, why'd you do it?" and guy replied, "you see those people over there? i bet them $5000 that you would laugh if i peed all over this place." ____________________________
it took me a few seconds to realize the joke. it was kinda eww.. okay. but eww.
had this thing that was sort of a french oral in french class today. you know that autoportiates? well, apparentely the presentations were sorta like orals and what's worse is that it was on camera! ): i think i did horribly. i don't feel like typing out what i said even though normally i type out what i say for orals.. maybe its not a real oral.. but it sure felt like it. and at least now in this french class i feel more challenged. french three, no way was i ever going t feel challenged.
oh! and i forgot t mention his favourite animal, the penguin and on his autoportriate thing i liked how i drew him.. ah nevermind. you wanna see! :D
in apush today, ms major was trying t show us spain's exploration of new land using an imaginary map and was like:
ms major - so here's friggin spain and here's... why do you all look like you're going t laugh? some student - you said friggin spain.. ms major - i did not.. sam - yes you did the whole class - uh yeah.. *bursts into laughter* ms major - i still don't think i said that.. so anyway, here's beautiful spain and here's..

grey's anatomy yesterday was nicer than last week's. and some guy got a tree branch stuck through his body! you could see the broken tree branch coming through the other side of the body! :o

had that leadership breakfast today. on the way to the old port tavern, where the breakfast was held, was quite funny. we used three cars t get there, mr romano's, the school president's and this other senator's cars and so i was riding in the president's car and we were following mr romano's in front of us and behind was that other senator and then when we got on the highway to go to portland, the other senator just drove in front of us like we were racing to be behind mr romano or something and ryan was like, this would make a good movie.. hahaha
the breakfast was okay. it was quite long but bearable. anyways, the longer, the more class i got t miss and it would be excusable (:
then on the way back, this guy drove by us and just stared at us like we were bad students ponning school. and we just chuckled. then we drove into the school car park and this person's car was just parked totally out of position. it was parked diagonally and everyone's was straight and so it was like wtf!? and then this senator wrote on piece of paper:
what the "f"! learn how to park.
and we put it on the car's windshield. hahaha.
so i missed the first block and about 20 minutes of the second block. nice (:
in french, we're reading this story in petit nicholas where he smokes! wahahhaha. he has this friend named alceste or something like that who took out a cigar and at first petit nicholas thought it was chocolate, btw he is 8 years old, but then he realizes that it isn't because he's not eatting it. and then the next page, there was a picture of him and alceste fainting!.. or maybe they're high. i don't know. but it was really funny! ahahahaha
oh and ms laplante is going t paste our autoportriates on the ceiling! :D
got t type a bloody lab report for bio. i hate science. because we have t type up lab reports. if not, i would like science.

so today i got t miss school lessons and go over t the community center [that is just right next door to the highschool] for this leadership programme/workshop about harrassment/bullying/discrimination. the beginning was super boring. talked about getting t know one another and then how many different people there were in the room in terms of religion, ethinicity, disabilities, sexual orientation and stuff and how we shouldn't simply joke about different people because we never know who would be nearby and be affected. then we did this thing that ms major did with us.
remember that time when in apush we were standing in a circle in the breezeway? yeah, we did the same thing in the workshop but this time we did it differently. i don't know how t explain but it was quite amusing.
then we had pizza for lunch! i ate this jalapeno that papajohn's always put in there pizza box.. i love those! after lunch, things started t get more fun. well first we went into groups and given various situations and what we should do. after that, this camera man from wcsh6 [network co.] came and shot us. :D
and then we got into another group and did commercial things against bullying and my group did the mastercard type of commercial. OH AND!! we weren't allowed to swear/slur and stuff like that so t represent that we were doing so we had this paper that said SLUR. and we would be like, you little SLUR! and slurslurslur! ahahaha it almost felt like the word slur was a profainity..
so our mastercard commercial. one girl acted like she was being harrassed and she was carrying her bag, binder and waterbotttle and along came this guy acting as the bully and pushed all her stuff down and then he was like, you little SLUR! wahahaha.. and then along came another girl and i and we were like HEY! that's not correct of you! and then we gave her a binder..
new binder - $2 new waterbottle - $1 true friends and a slur free enviroment - priceless
and everyone was like, aww..
at the end of the day, we had t make pledgesand i was like, i pledge to give support to those in need.. a lot of people said stuff like, i try not t slur, i will tell the players on my sports team not to slur and stuff like that.. and well, i can't promise that i will do my best to never slur because i like to slur all over this blog. (:
as you know there are many times where i just go SLUR!
but i don't use slurs like bitch and whore and skank much. you've never seen these words on my blog except that time when those three chinese people did so and when i called ms nicholls a slur because sometimes she really can be one. chers are all slurs. (:
and we had t take a bead to represent out pledge and had some string where we could make it into a necklave or a bracelet and i well, i chose t make it into a ring. i have enough things hanging around my arms.
yesterday was the season premier of grey's anatomy! and they had these flashbacks of before they were surgical interns. and mcdreamy told meredith, i'm in love with you. you have to make a choice. but take your time.
because now she is with finn, the vetinarian. poor adison. i mean, yeah i would for mcdreamy and mereridith t end up together, but there i still feel pity for addison.. heh.
i got my other book i wanted for eng. class: a guide through the american class system. i also got how to marry the rich. :D

yeah, i ate a lot of it already. last week my mom's friend, auntie sorhoon, sent me this package with it inside as birthday present. got some other stuff too. man, i love her. :D
had a test today in history on all 50 states and where they're located. it was hard remembering all those states. that's the good thing about singapore.. it's small.
also received some letter about being selected for some leadership meeting thing. hah. me? a leader?.. i think i'm selected because i ran for vice-president and i'm in the student senate. bwahahaha..
owen [learned his name today], my autobiography drawing partner in french class was not here today and so i had t do that autobio thing all by myself and all i did was sketch his french name because i knew nothing of him t draw so i hope dearly that he'll be here on thurs and if he's not, oh, i'm gonna kill him..
have a science test next week and have t study tonight for the.. mock test? yepp.

whew. finally. i now can be so much more relaxed. no more big summeries t type up and no i still did not complete the whole thing. i only managed t do about 1/3? yeah. oh well. i'm just not hardworking enough lah. especially during summer.
haven't blogged for about 3 days.. been busy with school work. damn you school work.
so the things that happened over the past 3 days:
1) student gov. meeting, tim & i signed up for some breakfast thing on the 27th at 7-9am. and well, we have no clue that we signed it and thought it was for attendence or something.. and well, now i don't know what t do.. i'll ask mr romanow i guess.
2) okay, i've pretty much forgetten about what happened on wednesday.. well, first day of french iv.. oh yeah, we're reading this book, les adventures de petit nicholas.. it's such a cute book and wierd too.. as you know the french are very wierd. and well, his father received a ticket for parking in front a car garage and then he was like, but it's my car and it's my car garage!! and well, the police man didn't care. oh and there's this stupid law in france that you're not allowed t honk your car. ahahahaha.. and then petit nicholas did it on accident and i haven't read what happened next.
3) english on thurs was quite deep. talked about our opinions on some quotes from theimportanceofbeingearnest. and have t go mr jandreau's blog t post my comments it later. yesterday i got the book, how to meet the rich. the one about marrying was not available... oh well. it'll do. but i'm not sure whether i should use that book for english. later everyone will say that i'm so shallow minded.. so i'm still waitting for this other book that still has yet t get transferred over to this local library. grr.. if it doesn't come i guess i'll be using nickel&dimed or the howtmeettherich.. i don't know..
4) received another version of parade of the tall ships in band. and mr skeff made it less boring. not so many rests&breaks now. i think that sax is messed up. the kid sitting on my left is actually using my sax from last year. i liked that one.. sort of.. well, better than the one i'm having now. brought that bad sax home and gonna test it with my tuner because somehow i feel like it's out of tune.. i dunno. and if i can't do anything with it, i'll change it on mon.
5) since we're on the topic of band, i'm trying out for jazz band. earlier i went t see mr skeff and he said that he would help me after school before the day of the tryouts or something.. yeah..
6) apush today was all about the article about the native americans and their stereotypes. practically the whole period was all about it.. well, first we talked about the current events and how we're all so into conflicts and stuff and on the road when there's an accident we're so intrigued. i quite like apush actually, besides all the work..
and now, the up coming events for next week: 1) my birthday's in 8 days! :D 2) grey's anatomy's new season on the 21st! 3) some dinner/dessert function at falmouthclub by bates for my bro.. 4) and as lame as this sounds, i'm gonna join the french club!

exactly. i'll just forget it. i think the only point why i'm staying in apush is because i feel very dumb and i want t learn more by being in that class. i bet i'm the dumbest person in that class who isn't very up to date with the current events.. well, actually i do know about them, just that they also fly way to the back of my head. like one historical event over the summer dealing with pakistan wanting t wipe israel off the map.. or was it lebanon who wanted t do it. anyways, some country neighbouring israel. and then there are all these historical figures whom i have no clue who they are. well, i know ben f., g washington, johnhancock, samuel j. and yada yada ya. but there are still a lot whom i've never heard of. i hate history. and another reason why i'm staying in that class is so that hopefully i can score high enough so as there is no need for me t take the intoductory course of history in college.
yeah, i'll try t finish as much summer work as possible.
moving on, i changed my schedule and now i'm pretty satisfied with it. i'm in french iv! yaye! but i'll have t take real life [a compulsory course] next year because there is no real life course available during my free period and now i have a study hall.. and i'm taking health next semester.. which kinda sucks because now i'll have t watch remember the titans all over again. ):

and don't really like my french iii class because, okay this is gonna sound so emo and like an outcast, but they don't seem t like me that much. as in the girls. there's only three other girls in the class and i don't get why they don't like me.. seriously. well, i feel it's more of lauren who doesn't like me.. i don't know. but whatever. i'm no longer there.
english.. mr jandreau replied and returned us the letters we wrote t him and i told him i blogged, but not my blog address so that he wouldn't know how much i complain about school and about all the chers and stuff.. and then i told him about my bro and many chers know of him i asked if he knew him, and he wrote, NO. ahahaha.. mr jandreau is a pretty good cher.. but i think his classroom is infested with silverfish though.. there's one living in his recycling bin and i found one pwunie little one on my paper last week..
band was okay. received new music and it's the most boring thing ever. after the 30th measure we have a break of twenty measures and everyone's just sitting there waitting.. and this freshman girl was talking about how she got stuffed in a locker and now she doesn't trust any upperclassmen.. i think the freshmen should learn how t tell which people are very ego and know that they aren't trustworthy.

that summer hist work is too much for me t do all. i seriously cannot find anymore quotes. and i can't find any info on the changes of the american city in the second of the nineteenth century. either than that i would be pretty good. i guess i'll just try t pull up my grade as the year goes by.
hist was fun today. had get t know one another type of sessions. first we went t the breezeway and formed this big circle and everyone was like ??. and we had t toss this beanie turtle after we said our name and the name of the person we planned t toss it to. then we had t do it again as fast as possible and we got the record of fastest out of all ms major's other classes! 16 secs! :D
then went back t class and formed a circle with our desk and ms major passed out this container of small pieces of construction paper and we were t randomly 6-7 pieces and then each colour represented something we had t tell about ourselves. and went around the room saying them. for example:
blue - family green - favourite out of school activity yellow - something you did over the summer orange - least favourite food pink - favourite book/movie/tv show black - phobia
i can't believe a lot of people hate spinach, mushrooms and onions. i wanted t say bitter gourd but i didn't have an orange piece.. but eughh.. i hate bittergourd. >.<
oh and i hate my math cher, mr whateverhisnameis. ahahahaha.. i don't even bother t remember his name. sad. anyways, we had this experiment dealing with vermichilli and you know how he pronounces it? you know how it's pronounced like, vermi.shelli. he's like, vermi.chilli like the ch sound at the end of catch. hahaha... and he doesn't know how t spell either.. and leah's like, yeah, that's why he's a maths cher. hahahaha
health was very boring. we're watching this movie, remember the titans and i can't enjoy it lah. every minute must write some stupid movie notes. wahlau okay. it's health. why the hell do we need notes?? i hate health.
didn't manage t meet with mrs sturm. made an appointment t see her tomorrow after school. i think i'll talk t ms laplante about moving t french iv first before seeing mrs sturm because i have french with her as the last block. i really hope ms laplante allows me t move up. if she doesn't i'll be so pissed... or just very gloomy and sad actually. but still, i really do want t move up t french iv. man, i feel so behind compared t those in moelc.. i don't like that. i just don't. yeah, i'm wierd like that okay.

okay, so the stuff that happened yesterday... phototaking, it was so dumb. they set up this pose thing where you choose one of five poses and go to the booth where they force you to do that particular pose. it was so ridiculous. i prefer that normal type where you just sit there smile.. or look stoned.
after that homebase and then some boring assembly in the auditorium. then off t class for info and what t bring and whatnot.
yesterday, before everything dissapeared, i typed that i hated my schedule because every class isn't on one floor.. unlike last year where i had hist followed by geom followed by eng all on one floor, all next to each other and all one period after the next.. man i liked last year's schedule. this year's feels so tight.
like first, on red days, i have bio on the first floor, then i have t across to band and then i have t climb up t the third floor t english and then cross t the other wing of the school to french.. and then white days starts off with bio again first floor, go up t third/second [i forgot] floor for math and then back down t first for health and then back up t the second floor for hist... so much more tiring than last year okay. ):
i wanted t change me schedule t make it less tiring.. but then i changed my mind because if i did there might be a high possibility that i would be moved in from red day french t white.. because andy was in the same block of french of mine.. because i can cheat with him in french.. heh heh..
BUT THEN HE DROPPED FRENCH. ):
oh well. so now i'm gonna change.. not because of my tiring schedule, but i don't really connect well with the people in that class and i see no point in being in that class and i see why he made fun of ahem ahem(s).. ahemahem can talk about pointless stuff sometimes. so i'm either changing t the other white day french class or moving up t french IV. i feel that actually last year i should've gone t french iii because i knew all those stuff already.. just that i wanted t remain with all the freshmen and i wanted t revise passe compose.. had i known that we'd only learn that at the end of the year.. and now i'm not sure of french iv because i'm wondering what we're going t learn in french iii and what i'll be missing and my damn brother won't tell me well.. so i decided t choose the one that would affect my schedule the least because i like being in the same classes as albie and laura..
which brings me t band. i hate it. i miss having kelly nd albie sitting next t me and albie's wacky drawings and laughing for no apparent reason with kelly. ):
i feel so alone in the tenor section.. man, i want t go t wind ensemble or switch t the other concert band period.. BUT I CAN'T. because wind ensemble, i'm not good enough and if i switch t the other band period would mean that i have t drop apush which i can't drop because my parents would be all dissapointed and my bro would be like, WHAT!?! YOU DROPPED IT JUST FOR BAND??!.. -.-
so bleahh.. just gonna change french. shall see mrs sturm tomorrow.
