made my speech today and well, uhmm.. it wasn't very good.
i wrote my speech during homebase right before we had t go t the gym t make the speech. yes the gym. i hate the gym. i was so scared. the gym amke you feel like it's more open which means.. MORE SCARY.
anyways, the last minute speech i wrote goes something like this:
good morning fellow students. i'm elisabeth soong and i'm running for vice-president. you should vote for me because i can make the school a better place. thank you!then we went t the gym aka in sg as the hall, and sat in laura's
clan. hahaha.. then realized i had t move t the first row because i was one of the candidates running and then tyler also realized and came down and then i mumbled away nervously t jake..
then we had make our speeches. annie went up first because her last name is king and mine is soong right and it was alphabetical order. heard annie's speech and i thought
shit. howthehell am i supposed t beat her now. her speech is so much planned out than mine and she's done all these things and she was last year's vp and what have i done?.. nothing. -.-
so when i went up, i said:
good morning. i'm elisabeth soong and i'm running for vice-president. you should vote for me because *looking at my "speech" paper that all crumpled into a ball because of tense muscles* uhmm.. i don't know. just vote for me. ahhh! i don't get my essay requirements.. anyhow, i think i feel better trying t type it here..
these are just my thoughts and blah.. not really the essay:
so i think global warming is a cycle. not really a myth but a cycle that has been happening for millions of years since the beginning of time. so it isn't such a big deal t me that in 30 years we might end up being underwater. it's just underwater for goodness sakes. not really like we're gonna die.. unless we freeze t death..
we're all gonna die in the end. no?
yes, i do agree that humans speed up the process of globalwarming but gahh..it's like i still don't care.
and like i said before, this is why we should stop giving birth. because our descendents are going t be the ones who end up suffering the most. i don't mean t sound heartless or anything, but don't you think it's true? anyways, that's a whole other argument/essay. shouldn't go off topic..
thesis: the theory that global warming is a cycle & that we, humans are speeding up the process is true.. [i don't give a damn about it though.. i like being so uuneviromental i guess.]
oh yeah..
so i think this way because HELLO! there's these graphs that show you how the temperatures of the earth has fluctuated over the past hundred of millions of years ago! and there were several ice ages and several
heating up ages inbetween the ice ages..
why i believe humans are speeding up the process? because we use alot of cars which release alot of carbon monoxide and other greenhouse gases and such! and like baxter said.. COWS!
we breed too much cows and what do they do? RELEASE METHANE! and heat up the atmosphere!
cows have also caused the mad cow disease..
besides that, cows are a good source protein and iron and yummy t eat!

this is just not my week.
earlier today during world hist, i realized that the ear backing thing for left earing had dropped off! but fortunetely, i found it on my bed just now (:

once she had t do her chem finals back when she was in uni and the day she had it, she also had an enviromental final? i forgot.. but some paper lah. so she went t see her enviromental prof t ask if she could do final on another day.. a day earlier.
and her prof was like, why??
why? because she couldn't cope having both papers on the same day and well the chem paper was tough. and so the prof agreed. and on the day she took the papers, as the prof was printing, she would be writting and yeah. then the next day,chem paper.. spent an average of 45 min per question. and there were abt 5 qns? and when she got home, she slept.
oh yeah, have t tell this next story. it's about
GOATS! -baaaamrs chase was explaining how there was this original gameshow of choosing what's behind doors 1,2,3..
so behind one door is a brand new car! and behind the other two, are
GOATS! -baaaaand she was explaining how t calculate the probablility that the door you chose had the new car and not goats...
and then nick was like,
but goats are better than nothing right??and yeah. and then somehow we went onto the subject of walking a goat and mrs chase told us that she once had t walk a goat.
there was this play in school and it involved this one school stealing this other school's mascot.. the goat! and i had t walk him up stage and then back down and to the carand then joe was like,
the goat had a car?hahahahaha!
eventually, we got back t talking about probability. we sure do waste alot of time in math (:

i didn't see who because i was in another seat far away from my designated seat, talking t meg and signing her yearbook. but i think i know who.. i bet it's
THAT ASS! rahh!
and if it is that ass who stole it, i really am not interested in him anymore.. was i even? no. okay, maybe for like an hour today.. and then i took a shower just now and realized that he's a very cocky and whatever person. anyways, i think he's interested in me because i saw him and alex talking about something before i entered the classroom and then they were very suspicious. and then also when i got back from taking my nwea, alex, ryan and him were talking about homophobes or something and how he was one and i guess they were going t the topic about me but the didn't really know that i had come back from the com lab.. and then ryan was like, *ahem* *ahem* like he was signaling him that i was behind him. but whatever lah. he's very cocky.. okay, all this is actual nothing. just my thoughts running once again..
2) we got our scheds for next year in homebase today AND, I HATE MINE!there's no sophmore workshop! and no vidproduction! finee.. my schedule's too full. dammit. stupid honors bio must be done everyday. nooo!!.. i'm so gonna die next year.. i need my workshop okay!! -pouts!
3) we have an essay t type up in science!about our position on global warming and blahh. i've actually kinda said mine on this blog.. about a week ago.
4) even worse.. THERE'S AN ESSAY T TYPE IN GYM??!wtf! gym is seriously veryveryvery stupid! why? because the chers are stupid. yepp. the stupidest people ever.. that's why they're only gym chers.

today was a veryvery annoying day. so annoying that i've t blog abt it.
i guess because lauren&jessicatripp weren't here, mike&nick had t bug me. and it was very irritating okay.
during freshmen ws, i was sorta sleeping right and mike goes and takes baxter's removable thumb cast and puts it infront of my nose! and it stunk real bad! that ass! arhhhh!
and then science we had t go down t the lib com lab and do that classzone ws and nick was copying whatever i wrote. mike too. it's super annoying because grr... -.-
mr skeff wasn't here today. so mr ferman or whateverhisnameis conducted for the first half of the class and then after lunch it was study hall or something. blahh.
i really don't like mr whateverhisnameis. i think he's a very bad cher. he was calling the alto saxes and was like,
you know who invented the saxaphone? adolf saxaphone.wow?? he told me that story when he first "taught" me how t play the sax. yeaa..

because we had t run the mile in gym today and i stopped at like the second lap..
okay. the mile run was like 1.6 because we went around the track four times so yeah. and i'm veryveryvery unfit!!
it's like everyone took 8-9 min and i took 10 and half min. gahh.
and then i also felt like i was going t vomit when i was done and that egomaniac had t make it hard for me and kept asking my timing. i was breathing quite vigurously AND YOU STILL WANT ME T SAY IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN??!

i seriously think i'm unfit. but whatever lah. at least there's no more gym after this year. (:
