OH SLUR! / Friday, September 22, 2006
so today i got t miss school lessons and go over t the community center
[that is just right next door to the highschool] for this leadership programme/workshop about harrassment/bullying/discrimination. the beginning was super boring. talked about getting t know one another and then how many different people there were in the room in terms of religion, ethinicity, disabilities, sexual orientation and stuff and how we shouldn't simply joke about different people because we never know who would be nearby and be affected. then we did this thing that ms major did with us.
remember that time when in apush we were standing in a circle in the breezeway? yeah, we did the same thing in the workshop but this time we did it differently. i don't know how t explain but it was quite amusing.
then we had pizza for lunch! i ate this jalapeno that papajohn's always put in there pizza box.. i love those! after lunch, things started t get more fun. well first we went into groups and given various situations and what we should do. after that, this camera man from wcsh6
[network co.] came and shot us. :D
and then we got into another group and did commercial things against bullying and my group did the mastercard type of commercial. OH AND!! we weren't allowed to swear/slur and stuff like that so t represent that we were doing so we had this paper that said
SLUR. and we would be like, you little SLUR! and slurslurslur! ahahaha it almost felt like the word slur was a profainity..
so our mastercard commercial. one girl acted like she was being harrassed and she was carrying her bag, binder and waterbotttle and along came this guy acting as the bully and pushed all her stuff down and then he was like,
you little SLUR! wahahaha.. and then along came another girl and i and we were like
HEY! that's not correct of you! and then we gave her a binder..

new waterbottle - $1
true friends and a slur free enviroment -
pricelessand everyone was like, aww..
at the end of the day, we had t make pledgesand i was like,
i pledge to give support to those in need.. a lot of people said stuff like,
i try not t slur, i will tell the players on my sports team not to slur and stuff like that.. and well, i can't promise that i will do my best to never slur because i like to slur all over this blog. (:
as you know there are many times where i just go SLUR!
but i don't use slurs like bitch and whore and skank much. you've never seen these words on my blog except that time when those three chinese people did so and when i called ms nicholls a slur because sometimes she really can be one. chers are all slurs. (:
and we had t take a bead to represent out pledge and had some string where we could make it into a necklave or a bracelet and i well, i chose t make it into a ring. i have enough things hanging around my arms.
yesterday was the season premier of grey's anatomy! and they had these flashbacks of before they were surgical interns. and mcdreamy told meredith,
i'm in love with you. you have to make a choice. but take your time.
because now she is with finn, the vetinarian. poor adison. i mean, yeah i would for mcdreamy and mereridith t end up together, but there i still feel pity for addison.. heh.
i got my other book i wanted for eng. class: a guide through the american class system. i also got how to marry the rich. :D
got t do history man.
