had jazzband today. and we were rehersing this! i don't like my part though. mrskeff gave me the trombone played by tenor part. and i find it boring compared t the tenor2 part. so boring that i can't count it. baha.
and because of jazz band, i wasn't able t go with angela and see mr wolotsky today.. poo. but we're thinking about seeing him on tuesday after thanksgiving break or the week after that.
the beginning of the normal concert band was horrible today. i forgot my neckstrap and i spent 10 minutes walking in and out of the band office talking t mr whatshisname, getting the combination for the locks so that i could get the neckstrap of the saxs'.. but they all ended up not having any inside their case.. SO, i was left without a neckstrap at the beginning of class.. and it was horrible because i can't play without one..
then because i guess mr skeff planned t test my skills on the chromatics, he went off looking for a neckstrap and he found one! and guess what!.. it was my orginal old neckstrap!
you see, sometime ago in september or early oct, i thought that i had left my neckstrap at home but i could never find it at home.. but then today when mr skeff came t me and told me t be careful because the hook of the strap that held onto the sax was broken, i immediately knew that it was my old one! and my eyes were just beaming of happiness! :D
because i don't like the one i used t replace that original one.. it's too thin. and i think someone stole my original one.. maybe i'm paranoid but i really think someone did.. you can just tell by that look
she gave me.
also, the winter concert has been moved from this wednesday t december 5 or 7.. no, i think it's the 5th.
today was a very happy day. a happy monday today. (:
must do history essay now though. so it's a sad monday night. most likely staying up.
oh. and unfortunetely, i don't think i'm going t be able t put up the satire video. johnna&i asked mr j a few weeks ago if we could upload the video from the dvd.. and he didn't seem t be in a good mood or something.. so i think now we're just like, forget about it. man, should have uploaded it when leah&i completed editting it. but we forgot. gahh.
